The flash point was determined in a GLP-compliant study according to EC test method A.9, applying the Pensky-Martens closed cup method. The flash point of LZ1554 was found to be 240°C.
Reference
The barometric pressure at the time of testing was 1019 mbar and, thus, no pressure correction was required. The duplicate determined flash points of LZ1554 were 240°C and 242°C, the lower of which will be reported as the definitive value for safety reasons.
