Executive summary:

A reproduction test of the test item was conducted with Daphnia magna over a 21 -day exposure period. The definitive test was conducted with the concentrations of 0.625, 1.25, 2.5, 5 and 10 mg/L (with mean measured concentrations of 0.062, 0.130, 0.260, 0.523 and 1.06 mg/L, concurrently with a blank control group. 10 animals individually held at each test concentration and controls were used.

The test was performed with a semi-static water renewal system.

Total number of living juveniles of each parent, body lenght, parental mortality and total number of dead offspring were calculated. The concentrations were determined in samples of test media by HPLC. The resulst showed that the mean measured concentration of the test item were in the range of 95.4% - 97.1% of the initial measured concnetration.
