First-aid measures

Eye conctact : Wash with large amounts of water or normal saline. Keep eyelids open with the finger. Get medical advice if adverse symptoms will appear and show  the label.

Skin contact : Remove contaminated clothes and shoes. Wash affected area with soap or mild detergent and large amount of water until no evidence of substance remains (15-20 minutes). Get medical advice if adverse symptoms will appear and show the label.

Ingestion : If swallowed wash mouth with water provided person is conscious. Get medical advice if adverse symptoms will appear and show the label.

Inhalation : Avoid breathing dusts that may be generated by handling of the product. Remove the person from the exposed area to fresh air. Get medical advice if adverse symptoms will appear.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media       : Water spray, chemical powder, foam , CO2.

Hazardous combustion products : May produce toxic fumes of Cox, NOx and HCl.

Other special hazards : Special hazards related to this substance are not known.

Advice for firefighters : wear an autonomous respiratory device and protective clothes.

Accidental release measures

Wear suitable protective devices and clothes with full body protection.

In case of fire and/or explosions avoid breathing fumes and vapours. Use a respiratory device autonomous (SCBA). The vapors can be removed by spraying with water.

Collect all of the material scattered on the ground with protective equipment and put it in a clean and dry container.  Recover the substance for suction or with other mechanic means and wash with plenty of water and clean. Store the recovered product waiting for the skilled disposal society. If the effusion happened in highway or in a public place, suitable trickiness should be adopted in order to protect the people from any risk.

Handling and storage

Handle in a well ventilated place away from sparkles and flames - sources of ignition.

Keep away from oxidizing agents.

Avoid contact with incompatible materials.

Wear suitable Personal Protection Equipment .

Keep the substance away from drains, surface or ground waters.

Do not eat, drink and smoke in the working areas.

Wash hands after handling the substance.

Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.
