Test performance:
Six samples were taken in order to determinate the DOC (after 3 hours and on days 2, 6, 9, 16 and 28). DOC was determinated as difference between Total Carbon and Inorganic Carbon using a carbon analyser (Analytik Jena).

Ready degradability is defined in the guideline as degradation surpassing 70% within 10 days after reaching a level of 10%. Therefore, the test item cannot be considered as "readily biodegradable". Degradation surpassed 70% within 28 days, though. Therefore, the test item may be considered as biodegradable within 28 days either. Therefore test item can be considered as "biodegradable".
