Additional information

Blankophor TP 0306 is not readily biodegradable. According to the results of a hydrolysis study with a structural surrogate of Blankophor TP 0306 the substance is expected to be hydrolytically stable in water. In dilute solutions and in presence of sunlight, a half-life for photo-oxidation in natural water was determined to be 313 min for the structural analogue of Blankophor TP 0306.

Based on the log Pow (< -2) Blankophor TP 0306 no potential for bioaccumulation in biota is expected. The substance shows a tendency for adsorption to solid particles in view of the measured log Koc values (2.45 – 4.0) and therefore, potential to be mainly distributed in the soil and sediment compartments if released into the environment.
