First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove the casualty into fresh air and keep them calm. In
the event of symptoms seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of
water and seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Skin: In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap
and water. Consult a doctor, if skin irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Call in a physician immediately and
show them the safety data sheet.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: dry powder, carbon dioxide, alcohol-resistant foam, full
water jet.

Product arising from burning: Oxides of carbon and nitrogen may be generated.

Protective equipment: Wear usual firefighting equipment, e.g. self-contained
breathing apparatus and protective clothing.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Shovel with non-sparking tool and transfer into a

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid high dust concentrations while handling through the
use of ventilation and other suitable controls. Ensure all
equipment is bonded to prevent static discharge.

Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated
place. Avoid humidity and sources of ignition.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The preparation will be packaged in metal cylinders.
