First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: In case of accident by inhalation: remove casualty to fresh

air out of the dangerous area.

Emergency measure - Eyes: On contact with the eyes, rinse the eyes with clean and

flowing water with the eyelids open for at least 10 minutes.

Remove contacts.

Emergency measure - Skin: If skin irritation persists, seek medical advice.

On contact with the skin, wash off immediately with plenty

of clean and flowing water for at least 15 minutes.

Remove contaminated, saturated clothing immediately.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: A person which vomits in a supine position bring in a

recovery position. Do not induce vomiting. Rinse out mouth

and then drink plenty of water. Never administer an

unconscious person anything orally.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Suitable extinguishing media are water spray mist,

alcoholresistant foam, dry fire-extinguishing media or

carbon dioxide.

Extinguishing media like full water jet should not be used

for safety reasons. Furthermore, do not use a solid water

stream as it may scatter or spread fire.

Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Use protecting clothing and breathing apparatus with

independent air supply (isolated).

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Protecting clothing should be worn, including gloves (i.e.

chloropren level 2 and butyl rubber level 6) and goggles.

Ensure adequate ventilation, keep people away and stay on

the upwind side.

Suppress gases/vapours/mists with water spray jet. Wipe up

with absorbent material (e.g. cloth, fleece). Dispose of

contaminated clothing as hazardous waste. Ventilate area and

wash spill site after material pick up is complete. The

local authorities should be informed if great quantities of

leaked material cannot be removed. Specific environmental

measures are not necessary.

Do not allow to enter drains/surface waters/groundwater.

Handling and storage

Handling: As far as possible, splash guard equipment must be used

during filling, transfer and metered feeding as well as

during sampling. If necessary, any vapours/aerosols that

can be formed should be extracted directly at the point of

origin.

If technical extraction or ventilation measures are not

possible or are insufficient, the wearing of respiratory

protection is recommended. To avoid skin contact,

tested protective gloves (e.g. chloropren level 2 or

butylrubber level 6) should be worn as well as lightweight

protective clothing for the body protection. To avoid

eye contact, safe eye protection should be worn.

Wash hands before breaks and after work. Change contami-

nated clothing immediately.

Storage: Keep in a cool place, protect from light to maintain the

product quality.

Secure the container against falling.

Keep only in original containers.

Avoid product residues on the containers.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 15 and 30 liter canister, respectively; consisting of
