First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove the affected individual into fresh air and keep the

person calm. Obtain medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash affected eyes for at least 15 minutes under running

water with eyelids held open. Consult an ophthalomologist.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing.

After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of

water and soap. If skin irritation persists, call a
physician.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Immediately rinse mouth with plenty of water. Take patient
to physician/factory medical center or call for an
ambulance.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: water, dry extinguishing media, foam,carbon dioxide

breathing apparatus if exposed to vapours/dust/aerosol.

clothing.

Do not discharge into drains/surface waters/groundwater.

Contain with dust binding material and dispose of.

Handling and storage

Handling: Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid all direct contact with
the substance. Keep container tightly sealed. Avoid the
formation and deposition of dust.

Sampling will be carried out by wearing the following PPE.


Respiratory protection: air ventilated hood

Chemical resistant gloves (EN 388 and EN 374)

Working clothes (EN 340) and full suit in Tyvek

Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated
place.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The solid will be delivered in fibre-board kegs within
polythene liners, 25 Kg or 50 kg nett.
