Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Immediately remove to fresh air; consult a physician if
irritating symptoms develop and persist.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately rinse eyes with running water and seek medical
advice.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash immediately with plenty of water and soap.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: If swallowed, wash mouth with plenty of water. Take patient
to physician/factory medical centre or call for an
ambulance. Change contaminated clothes immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: All.

Product arising from burning: Carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, sulfur
dioxide.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Fire-fighters should wear protective clothing including self
contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep up spilled material; try to minimize formation of
dust; material must not be released into sewers, drains or
wells.

Handling and storage

During the entire technical process, the substance will be handled in a closed system to minimize the substance
emission and thus human exposure. Following the specific work place risk assessment, adequate technical
engineering system will be implemented and proper PPE will be applied to the highly trained operators who are the
only personnel involved in the entire technical process. Special procedures for cleaning and maintenance
work will be established. In cases of accident and where waste is generated, procedural and/or control
technologies are in place to minimize
emissions and resulting exposure.
Storage condition: Keep container tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
Avoid heat and sunlight.
