First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Symptomatic treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes. Seek medical attention if symptoms occur.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water. Seek medical attention if symptoms
occur.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, dry chemical powder or carbon dioxide may be
used
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may include oxides of carbon and
nitrogen together with metal oxide smoke

Protective equipment: A self contained breathing apparatus should be worn
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1). Collect in a
suitably labelled container for disposal by incineration in
accordance with local regulations.

Handling: Safety glasses should be worn and in addition gloves where
prolonged or repeated exposure occurs. Use local exhaust
ventilation or other engineering controls to reduce dust. If
engineering controls are inadequate use approved dust
respirator.
Storage: Keep away from strong oxidizing materials. Keep container
closed.

remove oxides of nitrogen and metallic smoke should be
