First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with plenty of water. If irritation develops, seek

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Flush with plenty of water. If irritation develops, seek

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, foam, carbon dioxide or dry powder may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and

nitrogen together with some soot.

Protective equipment: Protective clothing and a self-contained breathing apparatus

should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing, see 2.3.1.  Avoid dust

formation, e.g cover the spilled material with foam. Sweep

and shovel spill into plastic (lined) drums for disposal in

accordance with local regulations. Wash spill site.

Handling and storage

Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic

chemicals. Use adequate ventilation and protective clothing.

A dust filter respirator, gloves and goggles should be worn.

Storage: Store in sealed containers in a dry, dark place at room

temperature.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Polyethylene bags in cardboard drums, 10 kg quantities.
