First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.  If

irritation develops, seek medical advice.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and flush with plenty of water

for at least 15 minutes. If irritation develops, seek

medical advice.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, carbon dioxide or foam may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and

sulfur together with some hydrogen sulfide gas.

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing

should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing, see 2.3.1.

Sweep up and place into a suitable container for disposal.

Dispose of substance and cleaning water in accordance with

local regulations.

Handling and storage

Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic

chemicals. Chemical resistant gloves, suitable protective

clothing to avoid skin contact, safety goggles and an

appropriate respirator should be worn.

Storage: Store in sealed containers in a cool, dry place. It should

be kept away from ketones, aldehydes, epoxides, olefins and

oxidising agents.
