First-aid measures

Description of first aid measures.

If inhaled: Remove to fresh air. Obtain medical attention.

In case of skin contact: Take off all contaminated clothing immediately. If on skin, rinse well with water.  If symptoms persist, call a physician.

In case of eye contact: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention.

If swallowed: Do NOT induce vomiting. Give small amounts of water to drink. Obtain medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media : Water, Dry powder, BC powder, Foam, Carbon dioxide (CO2)

Specific hazards during firefighting: Burning produces noxious and toxic fumes.

Special protective equipment for firefighters : Wear a positive-pressure supplied-air respirator with full facepiece.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions : Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Remove all sources of ignition.

Environmental precautions : Prevent leaks and prevent soil / water pollution caused by leaks.

Methods for cleaning up : Contain spillage, soak up with non-combustible absorbent material, (e.g. sand, earth, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite)

and transfer to a container for disposal according to local / national regulations

Handling and storage

Advice on safe handling : Use only with adequate ventilation. Keep container tightly closed.

Requirements for storage areas and containers: Keep containers tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Specific use(s): Catalyst
