Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Executive summary:

A sample of ACP 70 was assessed for its potential toxicity to the sediment re-worker amphipod Corophium volutator. The test was carried out based on the method detailed in the PARCOM protocol (PARCOM 1995). Test organisms were introduced to sediment containing ACP 70 over the nominal concentration range of 10.0 to 177.8 mg kg/L dry weight of sediment and exposed for a period of ten days in a static test. Amphipods at all concentrations tested, reached the sediment surface within 30 minutes of addition to the test vessels. The LC50 (10 d) value was reported as 102.8 mg/kg sediment/dw and the NOEC value was reported as 10.0 mg/kg sediment/dw.
