First-aid measures

inhalation : Fresh air and rest

Skin : Remove all contaminated clothing. Wash with soap and water.

Eye : Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Keep eyelids wide apart. If symptoms persist, obtain medical attention.

Ingestion : Rinse nose and mouth with water.       

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media : Extinguish with water, carbon dioxide or dry powder.

Hazards/decomposition products : combustible but not flammable. There is always a risk of dust explosions when handling pulverized combustible material. In case of fire, toxic and corrosive fumes as carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide and hydrogen bromide may be formed.

Protection of fire-fighters : use appropriate breathing apparatus to protect against fumes.

Accidental release measures

Handling and storage

Handling : there is a risk of dust explosion when handling pulverized combustible materials.
