First-aid measures

1 Description of first aid measures:

In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention.

1.1 In case of inhalation:

Remove from exposure to fresh air immediately.

1.2 In case of skin contact:

Flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.

1.3 In case of eyes contact:

Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid immediately.

1.4 In case of ingestion:

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Wash out mouth with water. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. Get medical aid.

2 Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed

Not applicable.

3 Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed

If skin irritation or rash occurs, get medical advice/attention.

Fire-fighting measures

1 Extinguishing media:

Suitable extinguishing media: water spray, carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder or appropriate foam.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: full water jet.

2 Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture

In case of fire, the following can be released: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide.

3 Advice for fire-fighters:

As in any fire, wear a self- contained  breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH(approved  or equivalent),and full protective gear.

Accidental release measures

1. Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:

1.1 For non-emergency personnel:

Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid inhalation of vapour or dust. Avoid skin and eye contact. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.

1.2 For emergency responders:

Wear an appropriate NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator if mist, vapor or dust is generated.

2. Environmental Precautions:

Do not allow material to be released to the environment without proper governmental permits

3 Methods for Containment and Cleaning up:

Absorb spill with inert material,( e, g, dry sand or earth),then place into a chemical waste container. Clean up spills immediately, observing precautions in the Protective Equipment section. Provide ventilation.

5 Additional information:

Wet clean or vacuum up solids.

Don't use a brush or compressed air for cleaning surfaces or clothing.

Clear spills immediately.

Handling and storage

1 Precautions for safe handling:

1.1 Protective measures:

Wash thoroughly after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Keep container tightly closed.

1.2 Advice on general occupational hygiene:

Do not eat, drink and smoke in work areas. Wash hands after use. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.

2 Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:

Keep container closed when not in use. Store in  room temperature and a  dry, well- ventilated  area  away  from  incompatible substances.  Protect from heat/overheating and light sources.

3 Specific end use(s):

      Not applicable.

Exposure controls / personal protection

1 Control parameters:

1.1 Occupational exposure limits: Not listed

1.2 Additional exposure limits under the conditions of use: Not available.

1.3 DNEL/DMEL and PNEC-Values: Not available.

2 Exposure controls

      2.1Appropriate engineering controls:

Use adequate general or local exhaust ventilation to keep airborne concentrations below the permissible exposure limits. Use process enclosure, local exhaust ventilation, or other engineering controls to control airborne levels.

2.2 Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment:

Eye/face protection       Wear safety glasses  and  chemical  goggles  if splashing is possible.

Hand protection       Wear appropriate protective gloves and  clothing  to  prevent skin exposure.

Body protection       Wear appropriate  protective  clothing  to  minimize  contact with skin.

Respiratory protection       Avoid breathing dust. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.

Thermal hazards       Wear suitable protective clothing to prevent heat.

      8.2.3 Environmental exposure controls:

Avoid discharge into the environment. This material and its container must be disposed of as hazardous waste.

According to local regulations, Federal and official regulations.

Stability and reactivity

1 Reactivity:

The substance is stable under normal storage and handling conditions.

2 Chemical stability:

Stable under normal temperatures and pressures.

3 Possibility of hazardous reactions:

      No dangerous reactions known.

4 Conditions to avoid:

      None reported.

5 Incompatible materials:

Strong oxidizing agents, acids, bases, reducing agents.

6 Hazardous decomposition products:

Carbon monoxide, unidetified organic compounds may be formed during combustion.

Disposal considerations

1 Waste treatment methods

Chemical waste generators must determine whether a discarded chemical is classified as a hazardous waste. Additionally, waste generators must consult state and local hazardous waste regulations to ensure complete and accurate classification.

2 Product / Packaging disposal:

If empty container retains product residues, all label precautions must be observed. Return for reuse or dispose according to national or local regulations. .
