Conclusion on classification

Although the substance itself is rapidly degraded (via hydrolysis, photolysis and/or thermal decomposition) with an estimated half-life of 10 days the substance is not considered as rapidly degradable due to the findings in the screening tests for biodegradation as well as the simulation study in surface water.


Furthermore, adequate ecotoxicological information on the degradation products are not available. Based on the findings in the available information on the aquatic toxicity the substance is consequently classified as Aquatic Acute Cat.1 and Aquatic Chronic Cat. 1.
