Description of key information

Density at room temperatre is 1420 - 1460 kg/m3. The density has been measured by NISSAN Industrial Chemicals and is listed in the SDS. Huntsman has internal notes indicating that the bulk density of PT 810 is 1410 kg/m3 (non-GLP-study) . In a recent GLP study (according to OECD guideline 109) the substance has a relative density of 1.434

Additional information

NICNAS has reported a value of 1420 - 1460 kg/m3 from NISSAN ( NICNAS, Priority Existing , Triglycidyl Isocyanurate, Chemical no. 1, full Public report, National Industrial Chemicals Notifications and Assessment Scheme. Canberra, Australian Government Publishing Service, Aprio (1994).

In a recent GLP study (VUOS, 2009) according to guideline OECD 109 the relative density was measured to be 1.434 based on the results of the pycnometer method.
