307 mg/L

Additional information

Experimental data on the acute toxicity to algae are not available for 3,3'-(methylimino)bispropiononitrile (CAS 1555 -58 -4). Therefore, the acute toxicity to fish was assessed using a QSAR model.

The acute toxicity was estimated by ECOSAR v1.11 (US EPA, 2012). The substance was assigned to the ECOSAR class: Aliphatic amines. The substance is within the applicability domain of this chemical class. The LC50 was calculated to be 307 mg/L (BASF SE, 2016).

Based on the available data, it can be concluded that the substance is assessed to be with high probability to be acutely not harmful to fish.
