First-aid measures

General notes: In all cases of doubt, or when symtoms persist, seek medical attention.

Following inhalation: Remove from exposure to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get mediacal aid if cough or other symptoms appear.

Following skin contact: Flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical aid if irritation develops or persists. Wash clothing before reuse.

Following eye contact: Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid.

Following ingestion: If victim is concious and alert, give 2-4 cupful of milk or water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical aid.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishin media: Use water, carbon dioxide, foam, or dry chemical powder.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Combustible. Hazardous fumes may form when combusted.

Advice for fire-fighters: Wear seld-contained breathing apparatus for firefighting if necessary: wear protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes.

Further information: Prevent fire extinguisher water from contaminating surfaces water or ground water system.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Avoid inhalation of dusts. Evacuate the danger area, observe emergency procedures, consult and expert. Wear protective equipment.

Environmental precautions: Prevent entry into waterways or sewers.

Methods and material conatainment and cleaning up: For small spills, cover with dry earth, dry sand, or other non-combustible material followed with plastic sheet to minimize spreading or contact with rain. Use clean non-sparking tooks to collect material and place it into loosely covered plastic containers for later disposal.

Handling and storage

Precaurions for safe handling: Observe label precautions. Change contaminated clothing. Wash hands after working with substance.

Conditions for safe storafe, including any incopatibilities: Keep container tightly closed and in a well-ventilated area.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Appropiate engineering controls: Eyewash station and safety shower readily accessible. Synthetic apron. ventilation equipment.

Personal protective equipment:

Eye and fece protection: Safety glasses with side-shields conforming to EN166 Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate govermment standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN166 (EU)

Skin protectionL Wear appropriate protective gloves to prevent skin exposure.

Respiratory protection: Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray. Respiratory protection is not requred, but recommentded when dust is present.

Thermal hazards: Not available.

Environmental exposure controls: Do not allow material to be released to the environment withour the proper governmental permits.

Industrial hygene:  Immediately change contaminated clothing. Apply skin-protective barrier cream. Wash hands and face after working with substance.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity: No data available.

Chemical stability: No data available.

Possibility of hazardous reactions: Violent reactions possible with strong oxidizing agents.

Conditions to avoid: No data available.

Incompatible materials: Strong oxidizing agents.

Hazardous decomposition products: No information available.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods: Dissolve or mix the material with a combustible solvent and burn in chemical incinerator equipped with an afterburned and scrubber. Dispose in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulation.
