Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Based on the results from the test, the substance Ethylene Glycol Dinitrate can be classified as a not surface active substance.
Executive summary:

The surface tension of an aqueous solution ofEthylene Glycol Dinitratewas determined as 72.13 ± 0.06 mN/m at 19.9°C. One measurement was performed for verification (after 61 minutes). No significant changes and thus no significant dependence on time and temperature were observed.

As these values were higher than 60 mN/mEthylene Glycol Dinitrate was classified as not surface active.

The surface tension of the negative control lay within the accepted range.
