TGA EXPERIMENT (PRELIMINARY TEST)

Significant decrease of weight from 300°C. 25% weight loss at 445°C and 44% weight loss at 549°C.

After the experiment, a grey/brown residue remained in the sample container (original colour: white). The change of the colour indicated reaction and/or decomposition of the test item.

DSC EXPERIMENT

An endothermic peak between 250°C and 400°C was observed. After the experiment, a grey residue remained in the sample container. Based on this, the effect was due to reaction and/or decomposition of the test item.

Melting of the test item was not observed below the temperature at which reaction and/or decomposition started (250°C)
