Additional information

The test substance is a liquid with a melting point of 14°C and a boiling point of 238.5°C at 101.325 kPa. The substance is considered to be not soluble in water. Based on the chemical structure, the substance does not evolve highly flammable gases on contact with water, does not spontaneously ignite on contact with air at ambient temperatures, is not a self-reactive substance and is not an organic peroxide. There are also no chemical groups associated with explosive and oxidising properties in the molecule. Classification of the test substance is therefore not needed according to the Directive 67/584/EEC and according to the EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
