Justification for classification or non-classification

Investigations to the mutagenic potential of metenolone (ZK 5466) are not available. On the basis of negative results gained with other steroid hormones in mutagenicity tests, ZK 5466 is not expected to have any such effect.

Not classified according to German legislation (TRGS-905) for adrogenic steroids (metenolone acetate, ZK 5469).

Based on the results there is no classification required according to Directive 67/548/EEC and Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 (CLP).
