Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Two calculations based on the logKow of 5.6 have been performed with the BCFBAF programme and with the standard QSAR used in the EUSES program. The calculations showed a BCF of 2301 and 11500, respectively.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

BCF (aquatic species):
11 500 L/kg ww

Additional information

In a worst case assumption the higher value has been used for modelling. An additional reason to use this value is that it comes from the standard model used under REACH to calculate environmental exposure (EUSES).

The test substance does not fulfill any of the criteria to allow the conclusion "No Evidence of limited bioaccumulation" (REACH guidance R11 pg 34). However, as the substance does not fulfill the P-criterion, no further testing is considered necessary. The substance is considered to be bioaccumulating (B or vB).
