Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A kinematic viscosity value of 0.772 mm2/s at 20°C was determined for the substance using a relevant test method and in compliance with a known quality system (ISO 9001:2008). The result is considered to be reliable and is selected as key study.

The key study is supported by a dynamic viscosity value of 0.6 mPa s at 20°C which was reported in a handbook (Budavari 1989) which has been subject to peer-review and in which the original data sources are traceable.

In available secondary sources to which reliability could not be assigned, dynamic viscosity values in the range of 0.65 - 1.8 mPa s at 20-25°C were reported for the substance.
