ECHA reports on the progress made in 2021 in dossier and substance evaluation in line with Article 54 of REACH. 

During 2021, progress was made on 70 substances. Evaluation was completed for 31 substances, i.e. conclusion reports from the evaluating member states were published on our website. The authorities recommended further risk management measures for 23 of these substances, whereas 8 substances already had the necessary measures in place (or did not need any).  

The evaluating member states assessed 14 new substances, resulting in 8 draft decisions and 6 conclusions. Another 2 draft decisions were sent as a result of follow-up evaluation.
