The acute oral toxicity using Methyl methanesulfonate (66-27-3) in 30 female Sprague-Dawley rats at the concentration of 0, 0.15 and 0.21 g/kg (0, 150 and 210 mg/kg). The given test chemical was dissolved as 1% solution in water and administered via oral gavage route.Animals were observed fir mortality.Slopes of the dose-response curves and the range of the doses were analyzed by probit analyses.50% mortality was observed in treated rats at 225 mg/kg bw.
