The inoculum was washed, brought to a concentration of 5 g/I dry substance and aerated for 24 hours .
50 ml were added to a total volume of 250 ml to obtain a concentration of 1 g/I dry substance in the test .
No stock solution for the test substance was prepared, since the test substance was added in appropriate amounts to each of the proposed test concentrations.
For the reference substance, a stock solution of 500 mg/L was prepared.
