Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eyes: Flush eyes with adequate amounts of water for at least fifteen (15) minutes. Take care not to flush contaminated water into unaffected eye. Use tepid water if possible.
Skin: Remove clothes, flush skin with copious amounts of running water. If irritation develops after washing, get medical attention. Wash exposed areas, hands, face, etc. before going home, eating, and smoking.
Ingestion: If small amounts have been swallowed, rinse mouth out, drink plenty of water, and If larger amounts have been ingested, get medical attention. Induce vomiting only if directed by medical personnel.
Fire-fighting measures
Unsuitable Extinguishing Media: NA
Special Exposure Hazards: This material will auto ignite at temperatures approximately 365°F (185°C).
Products of Combustion: Can produce nitrogen, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, ammonia, methane, copper, metal oxides, and water.
Protection of Firefighters: Fight surrounding fire at a distance until material has burned.
Special Protective Equipment for Firefighters: NA
Accidental release measures
Environmental Precautions: NA
Methods For Containment and Clean-up: Contain the material and clean up with non-sparking tools. Avoid spark, static electricity, and open flame. Avoid raising dust and ventilate area. Wash spill site with water after material pick-up is complete. Follow all current and applicable laws and regulations.
Handling and storage
Storage: Store away from high temperatures, open flame, static electricity, and other ignition sources. Store in transportainers, explosive cabinets or other approved storage facility.

Exposure controls / personal protection
-Guanidine nitrate: NE (OSHA-PEL, ACGIH-TLV)
-Copper Diammine Dinitrate: NE (OSHA-PEL, ACGIH-TLV)
-Silica-Amorphous, fumed: 30 mg/m3 (OSHA-PEL), 2 mg/m3 (ACGIH-TLV)
Engineering Controls: Use approved engineering controls to minimize exposure to ESD. Use approved personal protective equipment as a short-term control until engineering controls are adequate.
Personal Protective Equipment
-Respiratory Protection: Adequately designed local exhaust systems are the first choice for employee protection. As a short-term fix, personal protective equipment, including appropriate respirators may be used until engineering controls are installed and verified as effective, by a qualified Industrial Hygienist or equivalent.
-Hand Protection: Protective gloves.
-Eye Protection: Safety goggles/glasses. Protect skin around the eyes.
-Skin Protection: Avoid skin contact with material.
-General Hygiene Responsibilities: Use good personal hygiene at all times.
