Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test substance was assessed for short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates according to OECD Guideline 202 and EU Method C2. The results indicated at 48 h EC50 of 100 mg/L and a NOEC of 100 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
100 mg/L

Additional information

There was no immobilisation in 20 daphnids exposed to a test concentration of 100 mg/L for a period of 48 h. Inspection of the immobilisation data gave an EC50 at 24 and at 48 h of > 100 mg/L. The No Observed Effect Concentration after 24 and 48 h exposure was 100 mg/L. The NOEC is based upon zero immobilisation at this concentration. It was considered unnecessary and unrealistic to test at concentrations in excess of 100 mg/L.
