Description of key information

Long-term studies on invertebrates using sodium perborate as test substance are not available.
The environmental risk assessment for long-term aquatic effects of sodium perborate should consider boric acid. In ECB (2009), Dahnia magna was identified as the most sensitive invertebrate in long-term tests, a 21d-NOEC of 10 mg B/L is reported.
