Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
Skin contact: Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.
Ingestion: Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell. Rinse mouth.
Protection of first-aiders: A rescuer should wear personal protective equipment, such as rubber gloves and air-tight goggles.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:
No data available
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
No data available
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Dry chemical, foam, water spray, carbon dioxide (CO2).
Unsuitable extinguishing media
No limitations of extinguishing agents are given.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Carbon oxides.
Combustible.
Development of hazardous combustion gases or vapours possible in the event of fire.
Advice for firefighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
In case of fire in the surroundings: Remove movable containers if safe to do so. When extinguishing fire, be sure to wear personal protective equipment
Further information: Prevent fire extinguishing water from contaminating surface water or the ground water system.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Avoid inhalation of dusts. Evacuate the danger area, observe emergency procedures and consult an expert. Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak. Entry to non-involved personnel should be controlled around the leakage area by roping off, etc
Environmental precautions: Prevent product from entering drains
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up:
During clean up use personal protective equipment. Cover drains. Sweep dust to collect it into an airtight container, taking care not to disperse it. Adhered or collected material should be promptly disposed of, in accordance with appropriate laws and regulations.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Handling must be performed in a well ventilated place. Wear suitable protective equipment. Prevent dispersion of dust. Wash hands and face thoroughly after handling. Use a local exhaust if dust or aerosol will be generated. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Keep container tightly closed. Store in a cool and dark place. Store away from incompatible materials such as oxidizing agents.
Specific end use(s):
Use as a monomer or laboratory reagent.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Control parameters:
No data available
Exposure controls - Personal protective equipment:
Eye/face protection: Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166(EU). Safety glasses
Skin protection: Use protective gloves as follows.
Full contact:
Material: Nitrile rubber
Minimum layer thickness: 0.11 mm
Break through time: 480 min
Splash contact
Material: Nitrile rubber
Minimum layer thickness: 0.11 mm
Break through time: 480 min
Respiratory protection:
Required when dusts are generated.
Recommended Filter type: Filter type P1
Control of environmental exposure:
Do not let product enter drains.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity:
The following applies in general to flammable organic substances and mixtures: in correspondingly fine distribution, when whirled up a dust explosion potential may generally be assumed.
Chemical stability:
The product is chemically stable under standard ambient conditions (room temperature).
Possibility of hazardous reactions:
No data available
Conditions to avoid:
No information available
Incompatible materials:
Strong oxidizing agents, Bases
Hazardous decomposition products:
Carbon oxides.
Combustible.
Development of hazardous combustion gases or vapours possible in the event of fire.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods:
Recycle to process, if possible. Consult your local regional authorities. You may be able to dissolve or mix material with a combustible solvent and burn in a chemical incinerator equipped with an afterburner and scrubber system. Observe all local regulations when disposing of the substance.
