Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
- Eyes contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water (15 mn).
- Skin contact: Wash immediately with plenty of water.
- Ingestion: Seek medical advice.
- Inhalation: Seek medical advice
If you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately
Fire-fighting measures
No human intervention of fire control must be committed.
Evacuate personnel to a distant safe area and take shelter from the effects of a possible explosion
In case of combustion, the main decompositions are: N0x, C0, and C02
Accidental release measures
Collect the product with the safety precaution relating to handling having previously dampened the p
roduct with water
Evacuate toward specialized center.
Handling and storage
General precautions : During all handling operations keep the product away from sources of heat, fla
mes and sparks and avoid all shocks, friction, all risks of electrostatic discharge.
Storage: Normal conditions of industrial storage.
Class storage EURENCO France : 1.1 D in the storage conditions into EURENCO France plants.
The DINITROBENZOFUROXANE is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with
REACH regulation Article 18(4). Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including
the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance
with risk-based management systems is available at each Manufacturing site.
Written confirmation of application of Strictly Controlled Conditions has been received from every
affected Distributor and Downstream User of the Registrant's intermediate.
