Preliminary Test:

Only when 10.5 mg was diluted in 500 mL and shaken for 17h, the substance dissolved completely. The approximate solubility is estimated at 20 -25 mg/L.

The results indicate the required reproducibility (relative standard deviation below 15 %) and no tendency to increasing values, when the shaking time was prolonged.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The water solubility of the test item in ultra-pure water saturated with carbon dioxide at 20 ± 0.5°C was determined to be 65.5 mg/L (pH 8.97).
Executive summary:

The solubility of test item was determined in ultra-pure water in equilibrium with atmospheric carbon dioxide at a temperature of 20±0.5 °C according to EC method A.6 (Regulation (EC) No 440/2008) and OECD guideline 105. The shake flask method was used, because the solubility determined in the preliminary test was above 10 mg/L.

The water solubility of the test item was determined to be 65.5 mg/L (pH 8.97). The results indicate the required reproducibility (relative standard deviation below 15 %) and no tendency to increasing values, when the shaking time was prolonged.
