First-aid measures
First-aid measures after skin contact: Remove all contaminated clothing and footwear. Rinse with plenty of water. Get immediate medical advice/attention
First-aid measures after eye contact: Rinse immediately and thoroughly, pulling the eyelids well away from the eye. Consult an eye specialist immediately.
First-aid measures after ingestion: If the person is fully conscious, make him/her drink plenty of water. Never give an unconscious person anything to drink. Never attempt to induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Dry powder. Dry sand, Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water. Foam.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Hazardous decomposition products in case of fire: During combustion: Toxic fumes may be released
Advice for firefighters
Firefighting instructions: Clear the danger area. Be careful to flashback of fire.
Protection during firefighting: Do not attempt to take action without suitable protective equipment. Self-contained breathing apparatus. Complete protective clothing
Accidental release measures
For non-emergency personnel. Emergency procedures: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not attempt to take action without suitable protective equipment. Clear the danger area. Remove all incompatible materials as quickly as possible: Organic materials. Oxidisable materials.
For emergency responders. Protective equipment: do not attempt to take action without suitable protective equipment.
Environmental precautions: do not allow product to spread into the environment
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
For containment: Sweep up or vacuum up the product. Avoid creating or spreading dust. Transfer the product into a spare container: - suitably labelled.
Methods for cleaning up: Wash contaminated area with large amounts of water
Other information: Dispose of solid residues at an authorized site.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: Ensure good ventilation of the work station. Avoid creating or spreading dust. Avoid any direct contact with the product.
Hygiene measures: Do not drink, eat or smoke in the workplace. Always wash hands after handling the product
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Storage conditions: Keep the container hermetically sealed. Store in a cool, well-ventilated place. Keep container dry. Keep away from heat.
Incompatible materials: Water. Organic materials. Combustible materials. Oxidizing materials.
