Handling and storage

This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) for on-site isolated intermediates . Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available at each manuf acturing site.

Handling:
Adequate ventilation is required when working with the material.
Avoid formation of dust and sources of ignition in the workspace. Avoid personal contact with the
product and dust inhalation. No food or drinks are allowed. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of the workday.

Handling and storage:
Store in original containers.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Process condition:
Use engineering controls to reduce aire contamination to permissible level.

Engineering measures:
Provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation.

Respiratory equipment:
In case of inadequate ventilation or risk of inhalation of dust: use suitable respiratory equipment with particle filter (type2) EN 143:2000.

Hand Protection:
For prolonged or repeated skin contact: use suitable protective gloves, PVC or rubber gloves are
recommended (EN 374-2003).

Eye Protection:
Wear approved safety goggles EN166.

Other Protection:
Provide eyewash station and safety shower. Wear appropiate clothing to prevent any possibility of
skin contact.

Hygiene measures:
Wash hands at the end of each work shift and before eating, smoking and using the toilet.
For prolonged or repeated skin contact: use suitable protective gloves.
