Administrative data
First-aid measures
Contact with skin : Rinse immediately skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes having removed contaminated shoes and clothing. Wash clothes before wearing again. Consult a physician if required.
Contact with eyes : Rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes; lift upper and lower eyelids from time to time. Consult an ophthalmologist.
Ingestion : Seek medical care. If vomiting occurs, keep head lower than hips to help prevent inspiration. Do not give someone who is unconscious anything to swallow.
Inhalation : Remove victim away from the contaminated area to fresh air and have him/her rest. Consult a physician.
Most important : symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
High potential of excretion in breast milk.
Possible hazard to the active ingredient in the medical therapy of hypertension and angina pectoris.
Indication of immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Symptomatic treatment.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media
Water spray, chemical powder or foam, carbon dioxide
Use extinguishing agent appropriate to surrounding fire
Unsuitable extinguishing media None
Special hazards arising : from the substances
Slight fire hazard, possibility of dust/air mixtures may ignite or explode
Advice for fire-fighters / Protective measures
Wear a self-contained high-pressure respirator.
Avoid dust-producing conditions
Do not scatter spilled material with high-pressure streams of water.
Avoid contaminating the environment with fire-fighting waste water.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Precaution for handling in section 7
Wear the personal protective gear defined in chapter 8
Avoid dust-producing conditions
Environmental precautions Do not dispose of down drains or into the environment.
6.3 Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Mechanically recovered product, re-packaged into suitable and sealed containers. Avoid dust-producing conditions.
Reference to other sections See section 13 for Waste treatment.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Avoid inhalation, contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
Adequate ventilation of premises. Wear suitable personal protection gear. Wash after handling. Avoid dustproducing conditions.
Fire and explosion prevention
Take all measures necessary to prevent built up of static
electricity and the production of sparks or hot points during handling.Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Store in dry place and in a hermetically and lightresistant (brown glass bottle) sealed container away from incompatible substances. Store in cool place (refrigerator).
Any opened packaging must be carefully closed and stored upright, if possible.
