At 40 µmoles BaP/kg soil dw (= ~ 10 mg/kg soil dw), the reproductive rate per parent was 89.9 ± 14.2 (n = 7) vs. 117.9 ± 16.5 cocons in the control. This concentration was assigned as "effective threshold concentration".
