Additional information

4,4'-methylenebis(cyclohexylamine) has a low molecular weight and moderate water solubility are favourable for absorption through the GI tract. Its moderate log P value will also favor passive diffusion through the skin, especially if compromised due to caustic damage.  These factors are also favorable for distribution throughout the body. The major routes of metabolism of 4,4'-methylenebis(cyclohexylamine) (and of other primary amines) include oxidation, conjugation, and other enzyme-catalyzed reactions. This results in detoxification and excretion in urine or faeces.  These characteristics indicate that 4,4'-methylenebis(cyclohexylamine) has a low bioaccumulation potential and a low potential to concentrate in breast milk.
