Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
The substance 2,2'-iminodiethanol (diethanolamine) has a vapour pressure of < 0.01 hPa at 20 °C and of 6 hPa at 138 °C accoridng to the GESTIS - Substance database.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of the test item was calculated by extrapolation of the measured vapour pressure curve for the temperatures 20, 25 and 50 °C, according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.4. Vapour Pressure and OECD Test Guideline 104 (2006). The substance has a vapour pressure of 0.011 Pa at 20 °C and of 0.018 Pa at 50 °C.
