Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Verschüttetes Pulver mechanisch, z.B. auch durch einen

zugelassenen Industriestaubsauger aufnehmen und in

ordnungsgemäß gekennzeichnete Abfallbehälter einsammeln.

Reste feucht aufnehmen und ebenfalls in gekennzeichneten

Behältern sammeln. Dabei ist das Einatmen von Stäuben bzw.

Hautkontakt mit dem Pulver zu vermeiden. Personen, die

entsprechende Reinigungsarbeiten vornehmen, sind gehalten,

die unter Handhabung erwähnten Schutzmaßnahmen zu ergreifen.

Entsorgung der Abfallbehälter entsprechend den örtlichen

behördlichen Vorschriften z.B. durch kontrollierte

Verbrennung.

Handling and storage

Handling: Es sind die beim Umgang mit Chemikalien üblichen

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen zu beachten. Bei allen Arbeitsgängen,

bei denen die Möglichkeit zu Haut- bzw. Augenkontakt

besteht, wird das Tragen geeigneter Arbeitskleidung,

Gummihandschuhe und Schutzbrille empfohlen. Beim Ümfüllen

ist Staubentwicklung zu vermeiden. Getrennt von

Nahrungsmitteln, Genußmitteln und Getränken halten.

werden. Wegen seiner hohen Lipophilie ist von einem hohen

Sorptionspotential auszugehen, so daß die im Wasser ggf.

vorhandenen geringen Stoffmengen beim Eintritt in die

Kläranlage überwiegend abgetrennt werden.

When the material is used in the production of photographic

material (photographic paper), only extremely small

quantities of it get into the waste effluent to ist low

solubility in water (< 0.03 mg/l). If necessary , it can be

separated by filtration and sedimentation. Due to the high

lipophilly, it can be assumed that it possesses a high

sorption potential so that any small quantity which might be

present in the water entering a sewage plant will be almost

completely removed with the sewage sludge. Hence, an

additional, special treatment does not appear necessary, in

spite of its poor biological degradability.

die aber wegen der Schwerlöslichkeit des Stoffes

wahrscheinlich noch erheblich niedriger sein wird. Für den

Stoff ist ein hohes Sorptionspotential anzunehmen, so daß er

beim Eintritt der Abwässer in Kläranlagen ganz überwiegend

vom Klärschlamm absorbiert und mit ihm abgetrennt werden

wird.

small quantities bound to a matrix. The exposure model for

photographic chemicals predicts a PEC of max. 0.023µg/l for

this usage. This value is probably considerably lower due to

its low solubility. It may be assumed that this material has

a high sorption potential. This means that the bulk of

substance present will be absorbed by the sewage sludge

during waste water treatment and in this way removed.

Further, additional treatment is not necessary, in spite of

its poor biological degrability.
