Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with running water for 15 minutes and seek medical
advice.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Wear a respirator with a full face mask, rubber gloves and
boots. Burning will produce oxides of phosphorus, sulphur
and nitrogen and if incomplete combustion occurs, organic
sulphides and hydrogen sulphide may also be emitted.
Extinguish fires with carbon dioxide, dry powder, foam or
water fog.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Absorb on inert material and scoop up for disposal. Prevent
entry into waterways.
Handling and storage
Handling: Wear neoprene or nitrile rubber gloves and
boots,long-sleeve clothing, and chemical-splash goggles.
Storage: No special precautions

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery for recycling is not feasible.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not known, the substance is a salt.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method. Waste gas treatment to remove oxides of
nitrogen, phosphorus and sulphur should be fitted.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: "Expected to biodegrade in sewage treatment system"
according to the notifier, but see comment under
"Declaration".
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain.
