Additional information

Two studies on the biodegradation in water were performed. In the first study (CIBA-GEIGY, 1991) according to EEC Directive 84/449/EEC C.5 "Modified Sturm Test" (1984) 0 % was biodegradable within 28 days, at concentrations of 10.8 mg/l and 21.5 mg/L.

The results show that the compound is not readily biodegradable. The same results could be observed in the second study (CIBA-GEIGY, 1985). In this test according to the OECD-Guideline No. 301 B "Modified Sturm Test" (1981) 9 % and 1 %, respectively, were biodegradable within 28 days at concentrations of 10 mg/L and 20 mg/L. The results show that the compound is not readily biodegradable.
