Results and discussion

Results:
Hazardous decomposition products: hydrogen chloride (HCl)

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Under free fire conditions, ethyl trichloroacetate was completely combusted. In the combustion gases, 95 % of the organic carbon was recovered
as CO2, exclusively. Phosgene was not found (<0.3 mg/g). 88 % of the organic chlorine was recovered in the combustion gases as chloride,
exclusively.
