Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Endpoint:
toxicity to soil macroorganisms except arthropods: short-term
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely

Description of key information

The toxicity tests on soil macro-organisms except arthropods have been waived on the basis that direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely and the chemical safety assessment has not indicated a need to investigate further the effects on terrestrial organisms.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The toxicity tests on soil macro-organisms except arthropods have been waived on the basis that direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely and the chemical safety assessment has not indicated a need to investigate further the effects on terrestrial organisms. As results for the toxicity to terrestrial invertebrates are available from the ECOSAR QSAR, the results have been included. The QSAR calculation using the ECOSAR model gives an estimated 14 d LC50 of 148.88 ppm.
