Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Betroffene Person an die frische Luft bringen.
Bei Atembeschwerden Sauerstoff geben.
"ENGLISH"
Remove affected persons to the fresh air. Supply oxigen in
the case of breathing difficulties.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Sofort mit viel Wasser ausspülen; Augenarzt aufsuchen.
"ENGLISH"
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Skin: Mit Wasser und Seife abwaschen. Kontaminierte Kleidung
wechseln.
"ENGLISH"
Wash with water and soap. Remove contaminated clothes.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Mund mit Wasser ausspülen.
"ENGLISH"
Rinse mouth out with water.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Kohlendioxid, Pulver, Wassernebel, Schaum
"ENGLISH"
carbon dioxide, powder, fine water spray, foam
Product arising from burning: Kohlenmonoxid, Kohlendioxid, Stickstoffoxide
"ENGLISH"
carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Umluftunabhängiges Atemschutzgerät und Schutzkleidung
"ENGLISH"
Self-contained respirator and protective siut.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Verschüttetes Material unter Vermeidung von Staubentwicklung
aufnehmen (z.B. mit baumustergeprüften Industriestaubsauger)
und in geeigneten Gebinden zur Entsorgung sammeln.
Gebinde gemäß TRGS 201 kennzeichnen und unter
Berücksichtigung und in Übereinstimmung mit den nationalen
und lokalen Vorschriften entsorgen.
Beim Aufnehmen des Stoffes Haut- und Augenkontakt sowie
Einatmen desselben vermeiden. Zu diesem Zweck die unter
"Handhabung" beschriebene persönliche Schutzausrüstung
tragen.
"ENGLISH"
Take up spilled material and avoid the formation of dust
(e.g. with an tested industrial vacuum cleaner) and fill
into siutable containers for purposes of disposal. Label the
container in accordance with regulations.Avoid skin and eye
contact. Wear personal protective clothing (see "Handling").
Handling and storage
Probenahmen sollten staubdichte Vorrichtungen verwendet
werden. Beim Umgang in offenen Systemen ist möglicher Staub
unmittelbar am Entstehungsort abzusaugen.
Wenn technische Absaug- oder Lüftungsmaßnahmen nicht
möglich oder unzureichend sind, sollte ein geeigneter
Atemschutz (z.B.
erforderlich. In unmittelbarer Nähe des Arbeitsbereiches
sollten Augenbrausen bereitgestellt und ihr Standort
auffällig gekennzeichnet werden.
Bei möglicher Staubentwicklung sollten wegen der
potentiellen Staubexplosionsgefahr potentielle Zündquellen
aus dem Arbeitsbereich entfernt werden. Des weiteren sollten
Maßnahmen gegen elektrostatische Aufladungen getroffen
werden.
"ENGLISH"
Working procedures must be designed so that exposure by
dermal contact and, possibly, by inhalation is avoided.
During handling of the substance in open systems arising
dust should be sucked at the formation place. If technical
extraction or ventilation systems are not
possible or insufficient, wear siutable respiratory
protection (e.g. dust mask or particulate filter
respirator). Tested protective gloves (e.g. synthetic or
rubber) and, if necessary, suitable protective clothing
(antistatic clothing, e. g. cotton or synthetics) should
be worn to avoid contact with the skin. A safe eye
protector (e.g. tightly fitting goggles) is absolutely
essential. In the near surroundings of the working area
eye showers should be available and their location should
be marked loudly. Due to the potential dust-explosion risk,
in cases where dust may form, potential ignition sources
should be removed from the working area. Further take
measures against static discharges.
"ENGLISH"
Store in original container or other tightly closed,
unbreakable and properly labelled containers. Secure
container against falling. Avoid residues on/at the
containers.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: PE-Fässer mit Inliner (60 l)
