First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move patient to fresh air. If necessary, seek medical

attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for 10-15 minutes, seek medical attention

if irritation persists.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Drink plenty of water to dilute the chemical, seek medical

attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products may contain carbon, nitrogen and

sulphur oxides. Suitable extinguishing agents are water

mist, carbon dioxide, foam or dry powder.

Accidental release measures

Handling and storage

Handling: Use only in well ventilated areas. Do not breathe vapour

and avoid contact with skin or eyes. Wear safety goggles

and a suitable respirator (eg BS 2091, 1069), gloves and

protective clothing when handling. Wash exposed areas

thoroughly after handling.

Storage: Store in a cool dry place in tightly closed containers.

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery for reuse is not possible

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method. Incinerate at 1000 deg C using waste

gas purification to remove  nitrogen and sulphur oxides
