First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, seek medical attention. In all cases

remove contaminated clothing and shoes.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for at least 15 minutes.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical  attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: This material may burn but does not ignite readily. Fire

may produce irritating or poisonous gases (carbon monoxide,

carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides). For a small fire use dry

chemical, CO2, water spray or foam. For a large fire use

water spray, fog or foam. Move container from fire risk

area if possible to do so without any risk. Runoff from

fire control or any dilution may cause pollution.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Do not touch spilt material; stop leak if possible without

risk. Small liquid spills - Take up with sand or other non

combustible absorbent material and place in containers for

disposal. Small dry spills - Place material in a clean dry

container; move container from spill area. Large liqiuid

spills - Dike far ahead of spill for later disposal.

Handling and storage

Handling: Wear an airline respirator, facial protection, disposable

gown or laboratory coat, gloves and hat.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Material may be swept up. Purification would depend on the

contamination present.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Material is non-caustic, non-acidic powder, neutralisation

is not necessary

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended. Incineration is the preferred method of

destruction. However, nitrogen oxides may be evolved.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The notified substance will not enter the public domain.
