Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move affected person to fresh air. In case of irritation of
respiratory system or mucous membranes, in case of
indisposition or prolonged exposure, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with water for at least 15 minutes. In
case of eye irritation, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with plenty of soap and water. Do not use organic
solvents. In case of dermatitis, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Affected person should drink 500 - 800 ml water, if possible
with suspended activated carbon for medical use. In case of
spontaneous vomiting be sure that vomitus can freely drain
because of danger of suffocation. Give water repeatedly.
Artificial induction of vomiting should be restricted to
first aid staff. Give nothing by mouth in case of
unconsciousness or convulsions. Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water-mist, carbon dioxide, foam and dry powder.
Product arising from burning: Possibly oxides of carbon, nitrogenoxides, soot and water.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Personal precautions: Do not breath dust. Avoid ignition
sources. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
Environmental precautions: Prevent contamination of soil,
drains and surface waters.
Methods for cleaning up: Take up mechanically and place in
suitable, closable container for disposal, avoiding
formation of dust.
Handling and storage
Handling: In accordance with good industrial hygiene practice. Where
there is any possibility of inhalation exposure the correct
use of respiratory protection is required.
Storage: Store in the original container away from food or
foodstuffs.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 20 kg plastic bags
